Parents, Teachers and Friends Association

There is a very active P.T.F.A. at the school and all parents are automatically members. The prime motivation of the association is to support the school to the benefit of the children.

Through developing positive relationships between parents and staff, it also acquaints parents with the educational thinking at the school.

An A.G.M. is held in the first half of the Autumn term each year when a committee is elected to organise and run a variety of events, some purely fund-raising, others of a more social nature.

For further information please contact the PTFA secretary or any other committee member.

Chair: Valerie Conlon

Treasurers: Dotty Plowden & Kate McCollum

The most recent purchases the PTFA have been able to fund for the school are:

New hockey sticks and protective wear / kit

A new library  this project was fully funded by the PTFA and other donations received from local supporters.

New dining tables for our new dining hall.  Thank you so much to every parent that contributed towards these via supporting our fundrasiing activities.  The tables cost £3,000 and were paid in whole by the PTFA.  (See below for a picture!)  Our efforts are now turning to IT equipment and a new library.

Currently the PTFA are fundraising to improve the playground markings.
