While the teachers and children enjoyed a well earned summer break, School Governor, Bill Gilmour-White coordinated an extensive refurbishment of the school site. With new carpets and fresh paint in many rooms, the school has a new lease of life. Patio doors and steps were added to class 2, helping to create a much lighter room and an additional outside teaching area. The most dramatic revamp happened in Class 3 which now has a false ceiling, new wood panelling, modern lights and a double sink area to help facilitate the additional handwashing. The brighter learning environment has produced a very positive atmosphere.
